Description: VMMS PTA presents the 2nd Annual Karen Curtis Family Fun 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 8:30 AM
To benefit Karen Curtis Scholarship Fund – Funds raised in her memory will be used for a scholarship awarded to a college bound VMMS alumnus, high school senior, pursuing a career in education. Additional funds will go toward equipment and/or programs to benefits the students of VMMS


(Karen Curtis was a paraprofessional, a mentor in the Brick community who lost her life to breast cancer. Karen's spirit, however, is very much alive throughout the community that she loved so much and worked so hard at enriching the lives of so many. She is remembered fondly and lovingly because she cared about all of the students and saw the positive in everyone, judged no one, and reached out to all who needed her.)

Course is Brick Township Reservoir - Flat & Fast
Water supplied on course

5K Run 8:30am; Pre-entry (Postmarked by April 15th) - $15.00 T-Shirt guaranteed
Race Day Entry - $20.00 T-Shirt while supplies last

Awards Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Winners & Age Category Winners

Refreshments will be provided at the end of the race

Race Day Registration opens 6:30am closes at 8:15am


Pre-Race pick up & Registration at Veterans Memorial Middle School Friday Night May 7th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. in the school library located on side of building at 105 Hendrickson Avenue, Brick, NJ.
